GEORGE EDWARD SUTTON CASE ROOK; was born 12th October 1871 at Faversham. He died aged 83 on 3rd January 1955, registered at Braintree, Essex. He was buried in a plot he had paid for 20 years earlier that already had a lady called Theodora Belcher buried in it (June Qtr 1935, aged 64 years).
George left Liverpool in Sept 1913 to live with his cousins in Tollgate, Aylmer East Quebec, his son Sydney followed in 1914.
In Jan 1917 George then joined the Canadian 257th battalion CEF as a railway engineer near to Ypres. Sydney also joined the Army and served in WW1. George returned to Canada, but Sydney remained in England. George again returned to England in 1921, he did so with a new wife (?) called Eleanor and a Step-daughter Grace. It is believed that Eleanor was the wife of a cousin - Nathaniel Stephen John Smith. Eleanor and Nathaniel married 4th Qtr 1899, registered at Milton, Kent.
George married (1) LOUISA ELLEN MACEY on 28th August 1892 at Victoria Baptist Church, Deal, Kent.
Louisa was born 1st Qtr 1875, registered at Eastry, Kent. She died in 1912 at Deal.
George married (2) ELEANOR HYPATIA SMITH nee BENSON ? married in Canada or England, wife of cousin. Was Eleanor widowed or divorced? Eleanor was born 1st Qtr 1876, registered at Bethnal Green.

Louisa not only states that she is a widow, but she doesn't mention the children. She dies the following year.
Beatrice May Rooke is working as a servant (aged 15) for the Court family at 29 Cornwill Road Walmer.
Florence was living with her Aunt Edith Lush (nee Rook) in Portsmouth during the 1911 census. The Lush family apparently raised Florence as one of their own.
Sydney George is with his Uncle Fred Rook at 1 Ashmore Villas Mill Road Deal, Kent.
